Welcome to the Melbourne Health nursing website.
In 2007, I was appointed to the position of 
Executive Director of Nursing and I am delighted to lead an organisation that has such a long and proud history in nursing.
Melbourne Health is widely recognised as a supportive work environment for nurses with enormous opportunity for professional growth in both clinical and leadership roles. Our nurses demonstrate an extensive depth of talent, pride and clinical knowledge, a culture that was clearly evident from the moment I commenced in the organisation.
During 2008 our nurses were recognised for their talent and extraordinary achievement through a number of awards. These included the AH Wall prize, the National Hesta Nursing Awards, the State Nursing Excellence awards and a number of travelling scholarships in honour of former Royal Melbourne hospital nurses.
