Ramanauskas inspires young Harvey to support cancer patients

20 August 2007

Essendon footballer Adam Ramanauskas and Trent Harvey, son of Fremantle Dockers coach Mark Harvey, presented portable DVD players to the Oncology Department at The Royal Melbourne Hospital on Monday, 20 August.

Inspired by Ramanauskas’ battle with cancer, Trent Harvey, 15, raised money to support cancer victims.

With the money he raised he has purchased 40 portable DVD players for cancer patients to use at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.

The DVD players will provide patients with relief from the usual hospital setting and comfort from watching movies.
