Professor Graham Brown has had a truly outstanding professional career with remarkable contributions to The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Melbourne Health. Those who work with him are consistently impressed by his ethics, personal humility, intellect, leadership and companionship.
Graham’s association with The Royal Melbourne has spanned decades with his most prominent contributions being as the inaugural Head of the Victorian Infectious Diseases Service, a position he held for 10 years, and Head of the Department of Medicine (RMH / WH) at The University of Melbourne as the James Stewart Professor of Medicine since 1999. Most recently Graham has been appointed the Foundation Director of the Nossal Institute for Global Health and the Foundation Chair in Global Health at The University of Melbourne.
Graham is a clinician, a researcher, a leader, a mentor, an advisor and an active contributor to the global community, always seeking to find a way to improve the lives and health of people.
