The Project
When appointed to his new role as Melbourne Health Clinical Librarian in January 2007, Terry realised that a novel approach would be needed to promote evidence -based practice throughout Melbourne Health. Drawing on his experience in the UK and in the commercial environment he developed a website which after consultation with clinicians reflected and met their needs. He has been instrumental in helping to establish the Global Evidence Mapping initiative and with the DHS a ”Mythbusters Roadshow” which will take the Evidence Direct service to mental health staff around Victoria.
For more information on Evidence Direct, go the RMH Clinical Library service.
