Clinical Trial / Research Agreement Invoicing and Payment Clauses

All Melbourne Health Clinical Trial or Clinical Research Agreements must include an appendix titled "Payment Details Schedule" which contains clause(s) regarding all invoicing and payment arrangements under the Agreement.

The Clinical Trial or Clinical Research Agreement incorporating the clause(s) will be required to be submitted to the Research Directorate before final HREC approval of a project can be issued.

The required clause(s) are summarised in the following documents:

• Department of Medical Oncology use:
  Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) Invoicing and Payment Clauses Medical Oncology
• Department of Neurosciences use:
  Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) Invoicing and Payment Clauses Neurosciences
• All other departments use: 
  Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) invoicing and payment clauses

Budgets for Research Projects

All researchers who are planning to undertake a research project at Melbourne Health or who are planning to utilise Melbourne Health resources to undertake a research project must contact the Management Accountant - Research to prepare a budget for their research project.

Budgets are an essential component of any research project application and must be included with original submissions to the Research Directorate.

The Management Accountant - Research will complete the budget using a standard template.

To do this, please contact the Management Accountant - Research at least four weeks before the Melbourne Health Human Research Ethics Committee submission closing date.
