Melbourne Health Research Week will be held from 2 to 6 June 2008. Further details about the program will be posted on this website soon.
Call for Abstracts
All staff of Melbourne Health and associated institutions are invited to submit abstracts. Please submit your abstract using the proforma. Abstract submissions will close by 5pm Monday, 21 April 2008.
Abstract Requirements
- An abstract is a summary of research findings. The abstract begins with a background statement as to why the research was conducted, the hypothesis is stated and the methods used are described. The findings of the research are then detailed and a short conclusion puts the findings into context of previous knowledge and may suggest further work that may need to be performed.
- The abstract is limited to 400 words and must not include images, graphs or diagrams.
Poster Requirements
The space available for poster display is approximately 1.2 m (width) x 1.2 m (height).

Important Information
Unfortunately Medical Illustration is not resourced to provide graphic design and layout services for posters this year and it will be necessary for you to make other arrangements should you require this service.
