ANZ Trustees administers a number of specific granting programs. These are funded by discretionary charitable trusts, for which ANZ Trustees is the sole Trustee and which have the same or similar purposes. The specific programs and projects aim to:
- ensure a focus on the particular charitable areas nominated by the benefactors

The Australian-American Fulbright Commission is a non-profit organisation in Australia, established through a binational treaty between the Australian and United States governments in 1949 under the auspices of the United States Educational Foundation (USEFA) in Australia. Grand Challenges in Global Health (international provider)

Grand Challenges in Global Health focuses on 14 major global health challenges with the aim of engaging creative minds across scientific disciplines — including those who have not traditionally taken part in health research — to work on solutions that could lead to breakthrough advances for those in the developing world. The Grand Challenges in Global Health initiative fosters scientific and technological innovation to solve key health problems in the developing world. The Grand Challenges program was launched in 2003 and two years later, 43 grants totaling $436 million were awarded for research projects involving scientists in 33 countries. The Motor Neurone Disease Research Institute of Australia (MNDRIA) was established in 1984 as a national organisation promoting medical and scientific research into MND. Since its inception in October 1994, NBCF has allocated more than $74 million to 274 breast cancer research projects across Australia. The Prime Minister's Prizes for Science are a national tribute to excellent and dedicated work in Australian science and science teaching. Each comprises a cash component, a medallion and a lapel pin of the nature of those worn by recipients of Australian Honours such as the AO. The Roche Organ Transplantation Research Foundation (ROTRF) is a legally independent, medical research charity that awards operating grants for research projects in organ transplantation to established members of academic staff at universities, transplant centres and research institutes. The ROTRF is committed to funding a broad range of transplantation-related research, with the ultimate aim of improving long-term outcomes for people with organ transplants. Its priority is to support clinically oriented research projects, such as observational clinical studies or studies that use human transplant samples for laboratory examinations. To be considered for a grant award, applications should have demonstrable applicability to human organ transplantation.

As the philanthropic arm of the RACP, the RACP Research and Education Foundation works to support young talented physicians and trainees in the critical, early stages of their career in medical research and education. RCNA funds and administers a number of grants that are available to Members and Fellows of RCNA. This funding has been made available to RCNA from benefactors, some of whom have nominated selection criteria for their awards. The RCNA National Research and Scholarship Fund (NRSF) is designed to assist registered nurses to undertake both tertiary and/or postgraduate education, training and/or research activities. The charter of the Rebecca L. The Victorian Cancer Agency was established to sustain and enhance Victoria’s excellent track record in cancer research. With funding support from the Victorian Government, it invests in projects and initiatives that rapidly translate research into treatments and approaches that will improve clinical practice and care of cancer patients. Through its funding opportunities in cancer research, the development of a cancer research strategy for Victoria and ongoing engagement with everyone from researchers through to cancer patients, its goal is to make Victoria a leader in cancer research, care and outcomes by 2020.
