Service performance is reported quarterly to the Western Health Pathology Committee, whom monitor service levels and deliver improvement changes.
Over 40 indicators are measured for 9 common pathology tests.
Every request is taken into account.
Both urgent and routine performance is measured.
Both business hours and after hours performance is measured.
Peformance is benchmarked against ACHS standards where available.
