NorthWestern Mental Health is working on a number of exciting and innovative community development initiatives in collaboration with other key mental health and community support services.
The Mental Health Alliances are part of a statewide DHS project that aims to strengthen the organisational partnership between Area Mental Health Services and Psychiatric Disability Rehabilitation and Support Services (PDRSS). It is hoped that the Alliances will improve recovery and rehabilitation outcomes for people with mental illness and psychosocial disability, as well as the support offered to carers.
