GPs can refer patients with psychiatric disorders to Harvester Private Consulting Suites in the heart of Melbourne's western suburbs. Currently, waiting times are minimal. The Suites are co-located in Sunshine with the Mid West Area Mental Health Service and are managed by Melbourne Health in conjunction with the Glencairn Consulting Suites in Coburg.
The suites are conveniently located a few minutes walk from the train station, buses, shops, pharmacy and other public facilities.

HOW CAN I REFER A PATIENT?
A doctor's referral is needed before an appointment can be made to see a specialist.
If referring to a Psychologist, no referral is required. It is our policy that the referral is received by the doctor prior to the appointment being made.
The referral should outline the following details:
- Doctor's provider number, practice name and address.
- Detailed description of the patient's condition/issues, current medication and any other relevant information to assist the Consultant Psychiatrist with the treatment of the client.
- Patient's phone contact details, so we can contact them directly to make an appointment.
WHAT IS THE COST OF A CONSULTATION?
Our Practitioners charge a fee for private patients. Please contact the clinic for details of these charges. Actual fees can be explained over the phone. New patients will routinely be advised of the fee structure when their first appointment is being arranged.
