Evidence Direct is a 'one-stop shop' that aims to bring the evidence-base direct to you and, in doing so, enhance patient care, evidence-based practice and clinical governance. Through Evidence Direct you can:
arrange for the Clinical Librarian to be involved in evidence-based projects and be available, regularly or on an ad hoc basis, at clinical audits, in clinical settings, or on ward rounds and pre-and post-ward rounds*
Critical appraisal course online (free): go to http://www.healthknowledge.org.uk/ and click on Interactive Learning. Health Knowledge is an integral part of the (UK's) Department of Health's 'Informing Healthier Choices' strategy, resulting in a fully developed learning forum, using different types of learning styles.
