An introduction to the Eating Disorders Program
The Eating Disorders Program at The Royal Melbourne Hospital provides treatment for adults (16 years and over) suffering an eating disorder. The service is provided to residents of western metropolitan Melbourne and western Victoria.
Patients of the program may attend an outpatient clinic, day program or become an inpatient of the service. Treatment may be offered individually or within a group.
The program is staffed by an experienced, multidisciplinary team which includes nursing, psychiatry, social work, psychology, family therapy, dietetics and medical professionals.
The purpose-built Eating Disorders Unit is located on Level 2, John Cade Building, The Royal Melbourne Hospital. |
