The new dedicated unit gives the hospital greater capacity to give high quality and compassionate inpatient care to people with life-threatening illness.
	Australia’s first health service to set flu targets for staff Updated 12 April 2013 A health service in Australia has set for the first time an influenza vaccination rate amongst its staff and volunteers of 95 per cent.
	Melbourne researchers tackle drug resistant influenza Updated 11 April 2013 Two of Australia’s top medical researchers have received funding to investigate better treatments for patients with drug resistant influenza viruses. Dr Aeron Hurt and Dr Ian Barr of the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory (VIDRL), part of Melbourne Health, are one of five research teams in a joint funding arrangement between Australia and Singapore.
